Vinyl Windows from Utah (above, Aspen 600 series)
Valley Glass offers exceptional vinyl windows from Utah's custom manufactured Aspen 600 series. Choosing the right window can make or break the appearance of a home. Our Aspen 6900 Series has a bold and independent look that, without doubt, sets it apart from all the other
vinyl windows on the market. The even, symmetrical lines of the window produce an architecturally sound product that truly stands out.
Every Aspen 6900 Series window is custom manufactured right here in Utah. We pride ourselves on being able to give you the most value for your investment by manufacturing and installing your windows, eliminating the middle-man.

Each window is designed to compliment various styles of architecture and many types of exterior applications. From rustic mountain homes to a brighter country style, Aspen 6900 Series Windows are the perfect solution.
All of our windows are made to your specifications, allowing you to customize your window selections without paying outrageous custom charges.
Our 3 1/4" frame contains eight vinyl chambers for stability and better insulation.
Colors:

We offer three distinct colors that truly bring out the best in each window. Our sandalwood color is one of the darkest, fully extruded earthtone colors on the market. It is particularly popular with mountain-style and craftsman-style homes, plus it is nice alternative choice to traditional bronze. Our almond is more cream than yellow, which allows us to be more neutral and universal. See dealer for accurate representation of color.
Glass
Most vinyl windows on the market use a thinner glass called Single Strength (3/32") as their standard glass. Single Strength is more cost-effective for the manufacturer, but isn't the most durable product. Single Strength is thinner, making it more susceptible to glass breakage. We use a heavier glass called Double Strength or DS Glass (1/8") as our standard glass. Double Strength Glass adds considerable strength to your windows, making glass breakage much less likely. It also helps reduce noise.
Low E Glass (Energy Efficient Glass)

Energy efficiency has become a focus of every homeowner. We have provided our windows with
Solarban 60 Solar Control LowE Glass from PPG. Solarban 60 LowE is an energy-efficient glass that helps keep heat and ultraviolet light out while keeping your furnace heat in. PPG has devoted years of research and testing to develop a number of the most efficient glass types in the industry. Solarban 60 helps each window achieve the necessary U-Value to pass the new energy requirements. You can feel comfortable in your home knowing that even our standard windows provide the energy efficiency many other companies make you pay extra for.
Solarban 70 Glass (Higher Efficiency Glass)
With rising energy costs, finding energy-efficient building materials has become a very popular demand. PPG has responded to these demands by developing a higher-grade LowE called
Solarban 70. One of the concerns of homeowners in our climate is heat build-up. Have you ever sat next to large windows in a great room during the afternoon and felt the heat pounding in?
Solarban 70 was designed to combat solar heat gain. Solar heat is measured through a term called the Solar Heat Gain Coefficient. This coefficient measures how much solar heat is actually passing through your windows. To prevent solar heat from entering your home, you would want to choose a window with a low Solar Heat Gain Coefficient.
Solarban 70 has one of the lowest Solar Heat Gain Coefficients and still lets in a decent amount of natural light.
We have several other types of glass options for many different designs, applications, and performance. Our salespeople can help you determine what is best for your specific needs.
The Spacer System

One of the most common spacers you see in windows today is a less-metal spacer. Usually it is a u-channel aluminum spacer that is filled with a gray filling. The gray filling generally stops short in one of the corners, and you see the u-channel metal exposed with an attachment hole connecting the corner together. It certainly isn't the most efficient spacer system or the most beautiful. Most manufactures use this type of system because it less expensive to manufacture. As you know, metal conducts heat and cold, creating a greater chance for condensation to occur. When condensation or moisture collects around the edge of the window, over time, the constant moisture creates a greater likelihood of seal failure.
The 6900 series boasts the longest-lasting spacer system on the market in
Superspacer by Edgetech. Superspacer is a silicone foam material that separates the two panes of glass in your window and provides the solution to the problems mentioned above.

Superspacer reduces and eliminates condensation due to its all-foam construction. It also enhances the insulative properties of the window because it insulates rather than conducts, like aluminum spacers. Another added benefit to the Superspacer is noise reduction. The silicone foam construction provides a wonderful sound barrier that helps keep your home more quiet from outside noise. Many of our replacement window customers have commented on how much quieter their home is after we've replaced them with our Aspen 6900 Series.
Screens
One of our customers' favorite parts of the window is the screen. The screen frame is virtually concealed on the outside, creating a much cleaner look, and easily removes to the inside. You won't have to fight your screens to the outside any longer.
Locking System
This is an area in windows today that really doesn't get the proper attention. Many manufacturers have settled for a locking mechanism that opens with the push of a button (sometimes called positive-action). While these type of locks are fairly easy to use, they don't really seal the gap between your windows' sliding sash and main frame. We use a dual-cam lock system for our windows — every window over 24" tall receives two locks. These dual cam-locks, when closing, tighten the sliding sash to the main frame, creating a much tighter and secure seal against the elements.
Grids
Grids are the decorative bars sealed between glass. We have two different thicknesses of grid bar: 5/8" flat or 1" sculptured. The 5/8" flat grid is a very common grid. The 1" sculptured has a contoured look and is made to represent a simulated divided lite (sdl) that you would see in Aluminum Clad Wood Windows, but still remains inside the glass. The 1" sculptured grid gives you a much bolder look. With our custom grid and glass capabilities, we can produce just about any design or pattern you can give us.
